Over the Summer (June 2021 - August 2021) I had the opportunity to work as a UX Design intern at Goldman Sachs in New York City. I was blessed to work with other amazing designers, engineers, and project managers to really bring GS's vision to the forefront.

There were a lot of firsts throughout my time at GS.
I was astounded by how many things I hadn't encountered until I worked in the Financial District, especially as a native New Yorker.
In addition, I was tasked with creating global experiences that many GS employees encounter with on a regular basis.
I learnt a lot about myself and what kind of designer I want to be, I learned from some of the best designers, I met a number of interesting people who I'll never forget, and I ended up designing new features and explorations that will make the people who work there now's jobs a lot simpler.
Though I can't discuss what I worked on during my internship, I can say that my time at GS taught me how to give and receive valuable feedback, taught me about the stock market and its impact and how to design around them It also allowed me to appreciate making mistakes, and pushed me to think and design at scale for a large audience. Within the team, I learned how to build cross functioning relationships with developers and other product stakeholders.
